Barem hails from Buenos Aires, Argentina. He spends much of his days djing and developing his sound. Barem’s work is singularly deep and minimal with a timbral sensibility that is intermittently harmonic.
Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. Part of the new breed of Detroit, Ryan has made a name for himself over the past year with his floor friendly livesets and releases on Trapez, Telegraph and M_nus under his alias Berg Nixon. Drawing from the likes of Matthew Dear, Magda and Ricardo Villalobos, his percussive often shuffle style of techno makes him one to watch for the future.
