With Half Hawaii, what you get is nothing less than Sammy Dee and Bruno Pronsato. Sammy Dee (of the weird but wonderful Pantytec) is a legendary Berlin figure with a career stretching back to the 1980s. Berlin import (by way of Seattle), Bruno Pronsato has turned out a plethora of top-notch releases on choice labels Orac, Hello?Repeat, and Musique Risquée. This pair of characters joined forces last year, introducing the public to their off-kilter minimal sounds on Perlon and Hello?Repeat. Currently in the process of making an album together, their sexy, bass-driven grooves are custom made for the perfect house night.
