EQ-Tv chatting with Luciano at Cocoon in the Park Festival (video) about his recent Æther project and upcoming album.

Luciano apparently does nothing by halves. He’s currently touring the world with his new live show, Æther, a “synchronisation of sound and colour” which sees the Cadenza boss acting as conductor to five other electronic musicians – Reboot, Mirko Loko, Lee Van Dowski, Gregorythme, and Laps. The tour has its roots in the Narod Niki shows that saw Luciano team up with Richie Hawtin, Ricardo Villalobos, Carl Craig, Maurizio, Basic Channel, Zip and Dandy Jack to form a laptop supergroup, but Æther looks set to run and run. And if this isn’t enough to Luciano busy, he’s also got his new album set to drop in October. Titled Tribute To The Sun, the 10-track LP comes with a DVD documentary about Luciano’s South American tour in January 2009. So with all this going on, our cameras caught up with Luciano at Cocoon In The Park to find out more…
