Bart Skils’s career started in 1995 when he started working for the classic label and recordshop Outland Records. First playing in Amsterdam’s legendary Mazzo club he became resident with his weekly VOLTT nights. Known for his smooth mixing and dynamic sets he steadily developed his own typical deep driving techno style. Nowadays he is considered to be part of the so called 2nd generation of Dutch techno that include artists like 2000 and One, Shinedoe, Joris Voorn/Rejected and Polder. His style ranges from rhythmic deep techno to minimal electronics, always funky and danceable. He is also one of the founders and host of the highly respected VOLTT, Traffic and Static events, all situated in Amsterdam.
