Mr. Marc Romboy knows what’s up! Being in the music biz for over a decade, co-founding and building up internationally respected dance-music labels and projects, Marc never got tired of coming up with fresh and innovative ideas in order to push the limits of electronic sounds.
Marascia starts his artistic carreer in the mid 90s working actively for some independent labels. Among some of his first house music experiments the land of rhythm EP gets immediate international feedback. From this moment on his name starts appearing on the most influential djs charts and playlists. He works as a producer as well as a remixer and he is asked to remix tracks by Todd Terry, John Aquaviva and Richie Hawtin on legendary labels such as Illegal and Strictly rhythm. He then starts djing in the most important clubs in England, Spain, Germany, France and even Russia.

Darko Esser has a few very successful years behind him. He can look back on performances at festivals like Extrema, Awakenings and Lowlands. He’s also been busy with releasing his own records on prestigious labels Underwater, Audiomatique and Ovum. Furthermore, the Dutch public voted Doornroosje, where Darko is in charge of dance, ‘Club of the Year’ (Nieuwe Revu Nachttempel Award) in 2006.Even though the past looks good, the future looks even better. On december 8th 2006, Darko’s first record on Josh Wink’s Ovum label will be released. Also coming up are releases on Deep Focus (Onionboy EP, with remixes by Le Clic a.o.), Wolfskuil (solo record with remix by Petter) and Poussez!. This label, owned by DJ Yellow, will release a Darko Esser single next year. Darko also remixed Mateo Murphy’s track ‘Solaris’ for Mateo’s upcoming EP. Darren Emerson’s label Underwater has contracted Darko and his good friend Benny Rodrigues for 2 EP’s: one with tracks by Benny and Darko and one with tracks by Benny, Darko and Warren Fellow. And finally: Darko’s remix for Baxter Priestly ‘Release your head’ will be released on Manual Music in January of 2007.

As the title of his recent 12-inch states, Laurent Garnier has been getting back to his roots of late. After spending much of the early ’00s chasing down his jazz muse with Bugge Wesseltoft and indulging all sorts of influences (rock included) on 2005’s The Cloud Making Machine, Garnier is now focusing his attention again solely on dance music.
His RA podcast is quintessential Garnier: driving, bigroom, and unafraid of jazz instrumentation or progressive touches. Beginning with Miss Fitz’s controversial Nina Simone-sampling ‘Drifting On’, the mix travels 65 minutes of house and techno that is pure Garnier. There’ll be a couple you know, there’ll be a few that you don’t, but Garnier keeps this party bumping throughout. In fact, you may just have a red face, by its end, from dancing so hard.

Shinedoe spins a variety of funky groove techno-sets with tech-house influences. She likes to keep her sets interesting by combining different flows. The crowd adores her because she knows how to rock the place. In 2001, she started her own night called “INMOTION” at clubs Paradiso and Amuse in Amsterdam, where she has been inviting quality (inter)national DJs to perform. Her debut release “Dilemma/Alpha” on 100% Pure Records is played and supported around the globe by the likes of Sven Väth, Laurent Garnier, Richie Hawtin, Steve Rachmad, Ricardo Villalobos, etc. She also runs her own label “Intacto Records,” collaboration with 100% Pure owner Dylan Hermelijn. This label has been launched in September 2004.

Somewhere around 1986, after several years of playing at local rock and new wave parties (he started at age 15), Tomaz discovered the first house tracks at the record shops. It wouldn’t be long before he moved from the rock/wave scene to the freshest thing in town: house and techno. From those early days on he got the chance to make his mark playing at the big parties with all the big names, and also through several radio shows programming all the latest tunes. Some ten years later he took his first steps in production with Kobbe resulting in a release on the famous Re-Load label. That was the start of a short but impressive release list. Tomaz is the common factor some of the biggest releases of the past years: More House, Latin Loopworks and Sunshine (with Filterheadz) and Saturn Moons (with Kobbe). More recently he also started working with others like Stanny Franssen, Redhead and David Pereira.
Since 2000 he’s part of the Switch-team bringing a weekly radio show on Belgian national radio Studio Brussel. Switch runs every friday and saturday and hosts all good electronic dance music, receiving guest dj’s from all over the world. Tomaz is the techno host of the show.
He has graced the line-ups of every major ànd small party, festival or club in Belgium and has travelled the European party scene. Everything he does, wheter it is working at a record shop, radio station, studio or record company… he lives and breathes music

Remute aka Denis Karimani’s music is tricky to describe. For a moment, one may find the well known coordinates of electronic dance-music in his tracks, but those who would like to hastily stick Remute into a category have not listened properly: Here, someone really runs riot and forms hurricanes out of different influences and moods, which carry you away, especially because you never know what is going to happen next: straight minimal house tracks mutate into chopped disco orgies, prudish techno advances meet robotized voices, which cause turbulence in the stereo-sum and what appears to start like a cool electro track might turn into a heartbreaking hymn against sadness.
Pelle Buys. The Hamburg based producer, class 1974, gives us sensitive moments of the sensuality in all its facets. Every time he opens his laptop, then he opens his heart. FOR US! Pelles taste of music at the beginning of the 90’s was a bit different than nowadays. Or lets say, it was the complete opposite of today.
